rtmw is a mass-casualty tracking system allowing different responding agencies to communicate and share important information on casualty, triage and location data to receiving emergency rooms, alternate care facilities, public health and even family reunification centres. Responders can now experience interoperability and greater coordination between EMS and other emergency services organizations including military
medics and even cross-border assistance. rtmw can assist in assessing casualty overflow to emergency departments, which can occur from walk-ins in a disaster situation. This allows for more efficient use of EMS resources due to improved situational awareness.
